JAMES NORMAN
PRESIDENT - HEAD OF EQUITY STRATEGY

NOVEMBER 27, 2017

James Norman of QS Investors explains on CNBC why he’s favoring stocks with stable prices and earnings especially during times when sentiment could shift and investors begin to overreact. Economic data and corporate earnings have been strong, but valuations have been really stretched. If tax overhaul doesn’t get done the market will see this as a negative indicator, along with a looming budget agreement deadline on December 8th which has the risk of stalling the economy. Balance capturing growth but protect on the downside by rotating into companies with more stable prices, earnings and strong cash flows.
