Summary

The RFP Manager is responsible for all coordination activities around creating and managing the development of RFPs, or other documents describing organizational products and services in response to requests from prospective clients. Main responsibilities include developing and maintaining written responses, managing proposal schedules and deadlines, and ensuring final review and submissions. This key position will collaborate with Client Advisory, Business Management, Investment, and Compliance teams to ensure content is complete, accurate, and that delivery is timely.

 

Key Responsibilities Include
  • Oversee the production of RFPs and other related documents which may include client questionnaires, 15Cs, DDQs, etc.
  • Develop and maintain content, including written responses, manage proposal schedules and deadlines, and ensure final RFP review and submissions
  • Delivering high quality client documents in short timeframes with limited resources
  • Help prioritize and ensure timely delivery of RFPs, which may include assisting in completing RFPs occasionally
  • Work with a broad range of stakeholders in different functions, including Client Advisory, Business Management, Investment, and Compliance teams
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5-10 years’ experience in asset management industry
  • Detailed knowledge of RFP process, including regulations, compliance requirements and delivery processes
  • Sound understanding of quantitative investment products and institutional marketplace
  • Excellent writing and editorial skills
  • Strong communication, project management and stakeholder management skills
  • Works well with highly structured timelines and deadlines
  • Detail oriented, flexible and able to multitask
  • Self-starter who can work independently
  • Experience with Qvidian or other RFP database tool is preferred
  • Experience with investment software and analytics, including FactSet, Bloomberg and Morningstar
  • Fluent in office applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
