Summary

QS Investors, a quantitative asset management firm, is looking for a Content Marketing Writer. As a critical member of a small and highly integrated Marketing Team, the individual will be responsible for writing, proofreading and editing content for marketing pieces which includes, but is not limited to, presentations, brochures, email communications, online/digital content and social media. This individual will work closely with investment professionals, marketing, sales, and design to provide value-added, differentiated, and actionable content for institutions and financial advisors. 

Key Responsibilities Include
  • Create engaging marketing content for various institutional and retail channels across regions
  • Ensure content is consistent with messaging and brand
  • Work with colleagues to best prioritize and package content for different target audiences factoring in types of content  (eg, educational, value add, etc.), region-specific needs/interests, and media consumption preferences
  • Work with Marketing, Communication and Business Heads to develop a marketing content calendar
  • Work closely with colleagues to brainstorm and develop creative concepts and maximize the use of content
  • Facilitate and promote collaborative and productive working relationships as a member of the marketing team and within cross-functional project teams
  • Effectively present rationale and ideas to internal stakeholders
  • Ensure content is accurate and meets the most recently available compliance/regulatory requirements
  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of all firm investment capabilities, financial markets, and general investment topics
  • Conduct periodic competitive audits
  • Seek to improve processes and effectiveness of time spent
  • Must be able to balance an entrepreneurial spirit with operational acumen
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree is required
  • 5-10 years of relevant financial writing experience with a background in quantitative asset management
  • Experience with creating compelling messages for multiple target demographics
  • Proven ability to grasp complex concepts and convert them into clear, readable prose
  • Strong communication, project management and stakeholder management skills
  • Works well with highly structured timelines and deadlines
  • Detail oriented, flexible and able to multitask
  • Self-starter who can work independently
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
